The concept of transdisciplinary Study Circles was established at the inception of Minding Animals. They were styled subsequently as Study Panels. The objectives of the Study Circles/Panels are to:
- Support Minding Animals International
- Discuss academic and advocacy matters that will improve the status of nonhuman animals and alleviate nonhuman animal exploitation
- Have discussions that culminate in lunch-time roundtables or panels at all Minding Animals Conferences and in joint papers where possible
We are currently considering ways that we can better facilitate the use of the Study Circles, both now and into the future, as an integral part of Minding Animals.
